Feline Pastry Chefs, Hard at Work

Our experiences with Wanda's kneading are well-documented.  I've even blogged once about Otto and his peculiar new kneading habit.  What I've never blogged about before though, because until today it had never happened before, was being turned into a biscuit-making sandwich.

This morning, I woke up to find Wanda attached to my right arm and kneading away.  Suddenly, though, I was aware that someone else was kneading on me too--on my rear end.  Bear in mind, this was very early in the morning, so I didn't even think to turn around and look at who was making biscuits on my butt.  Truth be told, it was through several layers of bed covering and my jammies, so I might have missed this if it hadn't been for Wanda scratching deep claw marks into my bare arm.  My first thought was that the bottom-kneader was Otto, and that I was part of a Siamese Sandwich.  The more I considered it though, it didn't feel like there was going to be any bruising, so Otto was probably out.  The next two likely suspects were Elroy or Reggie, both of whom are much more gentle than Otto.  If it were Elroy though, it would probably be accompanied by some happy peeps, since he likes to sing while he's preparing meals.

When I woke up several minutes later, Otto and Elroy were nowhere to be seen, and Reggie was curled into the crook of my legs.  Mystery solved.  Now, where has Wanda hidden those kitty toenail clippers?...
