Mister Contentment

Last night, right before dinner, Sean made a fire in the Jotul woodstove.  We ate before the fire, then watched a cool movie called Forks Over Knives, about the medical benefits of eating a plant-based diet.  While we were watching the movie, we had an ever-changing arrangement of Buddies to snuggle and hang out with.  Otto was in my lap for a while.  Reggie came by to visit.  But through all of the Rotating Buddies, Mister slept at the top of the couch beside my head.  He reached out and held my shoulder with his paw, then leaned in close to put his head near mine.  I tilted my head back to rub his head, too.  We sat in warmth and comfort and enjoyed each others' company, Mister and me.  I'm pretty sure it was the cuddliest Mister has ever been, and he was purring up a storm.  I'm so lucky to have him as my Buddy...
